Who are we?

We’re Zoe and Max—a dedicated mother-and-son team passionate about creating innovative solutions for athletes with disabilities.

Max is a remarkable young man living with right-side Hemiplegia, Addison’s disease, and Autism. He discovered Boccia at the age of 11, thanks to the incredible support of his school and its P.E. teacher, who also ran Boccia Sheffield. Boccia quickly became a sport Max could access and enjoy, and it wasn’t long before he joined both his school and the club teams.

As Max's love for Boccia grew, so did his skills and confidence. Around five years ago, he entered his first competitive tournament and has been a regular on the circuit ever since.

However, Max faced a significant challenge due to his physical disability—collecting his Boccia balls between ends. He struggled to gather all the balls in the limited collection time, often making multiple trips and occasionally incurring penalties when balls rolled outside the players’ box. We searched everywhere for a solution that would give him more independence, keep his balls organized, and streamline his movement between matches.

Unfortunately, the only options available were plastic buckets or products not designed specifically for Boccia players. Realizing the gap, we decided to design a solution together. After much trial, error, and innovation, we developed a product that not only meets Max’s needs but also supports other athletes facing similar challenges.
